Rani believes every person deserves to feel strong, capable, and confident in their body. She takes time to understand what matters most to each client and works collaboratively to help them return to the activities that bring them joy. By combining this patient-centered approach with the current best evidence, Rani’s goal is not only to relieve pain, but to give every client the knowledge and tools they need to stay healthy and active long after they leave the clinic.
Rani has advanced training that allows her to provide highly individualized, evidence-based care. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Anschutz before going on to complete an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Currently, she is completing a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through Regis University. She is certified in dry needling, has taught in both the Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant programs at UNC, and has published research on the rehabilitation of sternoclavicular joint injuries. She also has her advanced yoga teacher training designation.
Rani works with people across a wide range of orthopedic concerns and has a special passion for supporting active women who want to build strength—whether they’re managing osteopenia, osteoporosis, or simply looking to feel more powerful in their daily lives. While she can treat any body part, she specializes in shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle pain, especially when previous treatments haven’t led to lasting progress. By combining skilled manual therapy, thorough dynamometric testing, progressive strength training, and clear communication and guidance each step of the way, Rani helps clients gain clarity, confidence, and long-term control over their health.
Outside the clinic, Rani recharges by being outdoors—running trails, hiking, camping, and rock climbing. She also enjoys yoga, swing dancing, crafting, and has recently taken up dirt biking.
