Dr. Whitman is a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist passionate about helping people move with confidence and strength. With experience across outpatient orthopedics, sports rehab, occupational medicine, and performance training, she brings a well-rounded approach to patient care that blends evidence-based treatment with genuine compassion.
Originally from Glenwood Springs, CO, Hope grew up with an active lifestyle shaped by the mountains—spending her time hiking, skiing/snowboarding, competing in gymnastics, cross country, and playing soccer. That early love of movement and sport continues to inspire her work today, both in helping people recover from injury and in empowering them to stay active and strong at every stage of life. She treats a wide range of orthopedic and sports-related conditions and also leads strength training programs. Her background as a collegiate soccer player and coach has shaped her dedication to injury prevention, safe training, and helping individuals reach their goals—whether that’s returning to sport, staying active, or improving overall well-being. Hope meets every individual where they are at and will push them to meet their goals. She enjoys being hands-on with patients, but also making sure they are set up for success on their own, at home, for the most positive rehab potential.
Hope earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Pacific University, graduating cum laude, and went on to complete an orthopedic residency at Foothills Physical Therapy in Boise, ID. She became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 2023 and has pursued advanced training in dry needling, prosthetic rehabilitation, and blood flow restriction therapy.
Outside the clinic, Hope has been actively involved in coaching, mentoring, and volunteering with community events ranging from marathons to the Special Olympics. Her upbeat and personable style, combined with her strong clinical skills, helps her connect with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
When she’s not in the clinic, you can usually find Hope outdoors—exploring Colorado’s trails, running or lifting weights, enjoying a fresh matcha latte, trying all the new restaurants, or simply enjoying time with friends and family.
