Doctor of Physical Therapy
Residency Trained in Orthopedic Physical Therapy
Board Certified In Orthopedic Physical Therapy
“My goal is to help those I work with realize what they are capable of and become the best version of themselves. I facilitate recovery through evidenced-based approaches and use my experience as a teacher of yoga and movement to also support growth beyond returning to baseline.”

Robert earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical campus and completed a Residency in Orthopedics at Regis University. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Robert has first-hand experience with following the latest research advances and publishing his own case studies and integrative summaries of the literature on the benefits of physical activity in various contexts. Robert has over ten years of teaching experience between teaching yoga and movement at Ape Co Movement School and continues to be interested in working with active populations. He enjoys holding workshops that transform the traditional human-anatomy lecture into a fun, hands-on way to discover how the human body works.

He uses his teaching experience to meet the unique needs and learning style of each of his clients in a personalized way. He also strives to find the unexpected solution when business as usual isn’t solving the problem.

Robert takes special interest in addressing orthopedic conditions. He approaches care with a focus on the whole person and each client’s personal goals for treatment and long-term wellness and/or performance. What he offers in treatment includes not only facilitation of recovery but also teaching his patients to manage their symptoms on their own in a sustained way to prevent future injury. Robert utilizes an evidence-based approach with a combination of hands-on therapy and exercise to address his patients’ needs.

In his free time, Robert likes to cook and bake, spend time with family and friends. He also loves to engage in all kinds of physical activity, especially hand balancing, acrobatics, and hiking.

Robert sees patients at the Mend location in Boulder.
